About
My name is Jill Fairweather and I have been a licensed broker area resident and licensee since 1997. I also earned a Bachelor degree in communication. While exploring many diverse areas of work and education before I became a broker, my dream was always to be the owner of my own business, so that I could give every customer the service they wished for and be rewarded for my efforts directly. Real Estate, for me, is the perfect combination of challenging work plus the satisfaction of making a difference in peoples lives. I go the extra mile which makes the buying and selling process easier for you. I have a mostly referral business by continually focusing on serving clients in the best ways possible and helping them make wise choices. I use technology, industry and market knowledge to keep with changes and remain efficient and ahead of the competition to meet your goals.
Below are some affiliations and certifications I hold to help you further with all of your real estate needs.

The curriculum required to achieve the designation is a specific, intensive series of a minimum of 90 hours of classroom instruction, covering a variety of subjects including: contract law, professional standards, sales and marketing, finance, and risk reduction, the fundamentals of brokerage and other areas of real estate specialization. With this title and through increased awareness of current topics important to the real estate professional, I can better serve prospective clients and customers with a professional education foundation. The coursework is taught by leading real estate professionals from around the country and is designed to educate practitioners about local, state and national real estate practices that affect them, their clients and customers.
As a Certified Distressed Property Expert I have specific understanding of the complex issues confronting the real estate industry, and the foreclosure avoidance options available to homeowners. The prospect of foreclosure can be financially and emotionally devastating, and often homeowners proceed without guidance of any kind. The developers of the CDPE Designation believe that the best course of action for a homeowner in distress is to speak with a well-informed, licensed real estate professional. They have the tools needed to help homeowners find the best solution for their situation. Often, when other options have been exhausted, CDPEs can help homeowners avoid foreclosure through the efficient execution of a short sale. They don't merely assist in selling properties, they serve and help save their clients in need.
Agents represent the Seller on the properties they list. Buyers want and need their own representation. Representation is difficult for some agents, sellers, and buyers to understand. Buyer Agency is was accepted by the industry in 2004 in Massachusetts and in my market area. This certification and my experience has taught me the standards to represent a Buyer correctly and wholeheartedly. At the same time I am better equipped to represent Sellers since this training is about representation.
America is a multicultural society. For many people and families homeownership serves as a stepping stone to prosperity and represents the American way of life. Expanding homeownership will strengthen our nation's families and communities. This designation is awarded to members of the National Association of REALTORS who complete the training program, and personally commit to the One America Principles and understanding and serving the cultural aspects. NAR publicly promotes the REALTOR role in providing equal and affordable housing opportunities for all Americans through a variety of programs.
